Prices for the construction of buildings in Poland in December 2023

The General Directorate of Statistics (GUS) provides data for December 2023 on price indicators in construction. In December 2023, prices for construction and installation products increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. Compared to December 2022, growth in this category was 7.5%.

The General Directorate of Statistics (GUS) provides data for December 2023 on price indicators in construction. In December 2023, prices for construction and installation products increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. Compared to December 2022, growth in this category was 7.5%.

In December 2023, compared to November 2023, there was an increase in:

• prices for the construction of civil engineering projects by 0.4%,

• special construction work at 0.3%,

• construction of buildings by 0.3%.

Compared to December 2022, prices for the construction of civil engineering projects (by 8.8%), specialized construction works (by 6.8%) and building construction (by 6.4%) were increased.

In December 2023, prices for construction and installation production increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. Since October 2022, there has been a downward trend in the annual price dynamics for construction and installation products. Compared to December 2021, prices for construction of civil engineering projects increased the most.
